September 11th and 12th…
As yall know I posted a few weeks ago about the Fishing Trip with the guys from work… Well we are still planning on this fishing trip and camping on the Island right out from Smith Springs… Well the youngest is 19 and just Joined the Marines… I promised him id send him off with some Jug fishing for Catfish( he loves to catfish im more crappie) But Feed back is needed. Id like to throw out some jugs at night then go around Anderson beach to crappie fish a few hours… My question is wheres a good place to throw out some jugs for catfish close by to the Islands we are camping on… All feed back is welcome Thanks…. Lets send this Young Guy off to the Marines with a lot of Catfish for him to catch…. John

When going down lake the cove on the right before hobson pike bridge can be good.
