  September 1st crappie

  Currently, crappie fishing is good. The last few days during half day trips(4-5 hours) we have seen 30-40 crappie, with between 14-25 keepers. These fish were caught in 10ft-16ft of water on minnows fished with slip floats and jigs. Once again, brushpiles are the ticket! Around the youth camp just down from Fate Sanders has been a productive area. Also, Pooles knob campground has been active.
