Smoked them in sister cove
I bank fished sister cove today for 3 hours. I had 16 largemouth and 1 smallie. Most of the largemouth were smaller but I had 7 keepers. Biggest was about 3.5 pounds. The smallie was 15 inches. I started fishing a texas rigged lizard. The first cast I hooked a 14 inch largemouth. You just know it is going to be a great day when you have 2 fish in 3 casts! I was fishing a green pumpkin magic lizard with a 1/8 ounce bullet sinker. I got 3 on that before the lizard tore up. I decided to tie on a jika rigged lizard and I got one on that. I ripped that lizard up and all I had left was green pumpkin orange lizards left. I didn’t get any bites on that, I don’t know if it was confidence or what. They started schooling at the end and they were knocking my fluke out of the water! I had 13 an hour before dark! I probably would have caught more if I had not ripped through all my flukes. I had a bite every cast. I probably missed 20 that missed my flukes on top of the water. I am going back out tommorow afternoon after I get some more flukes and lizards.

It is the next big cove on the right going torwards longhunter from fate sanders.

I got 15 today. My brother got 2. Only 3 bigger that 15 inches. Most were in the 12-14 inch range. The biggest was 17 inches. The big fish came on flukes. My brother caught one on a pop r. I caught the rest on a t rigged lizards and baby brush hogs. My confidence color was green pumpkin magic but my brother was using watermelon red.

My son and I fished Sister Cove today. Could not resist after the chatter on the message board. We started around 1:30 and my son fished a green lizard and I fished a Road Runner. We only caught 3 bass and no crappie. I don’t know if the cold snap last night caused them to retreat but it was slow. We fished around Stewart Creek and caught a few crappie and a few more small bass to close out the evening.

I fished there this morning at it was slow for me too. I only had 5 small ones.
