Spawning tempature for Large Mouths on OH

I was told that LM begin to spawn at 60-68 degrees. The big mothers get first choice and as of Wed 4/1 some were already up shallow where the water temps were higher. I caught a 8.5lb on the river channel in 2-8 ft of water but another boat caught some 4-5’s in shallow water on jerk baits and the A-rig.

Good luck…I will be back out this Sunday hopefully most people will stay home for Easter and won’t have to contend with all the pleasure boat traffic.
