suggestions for august 24?
Hi Brian,
I have been reading the forum and I recently retired, bought a skeeter from Anderson Marine, and have been trying to catch fish at PP with out much luck. I moved to Arrington from northern Illinois, am somewhat familiar with Jonathan Creek area of KY lake, but none of my previous experience seems to be transferring. What suggestions do you have for us tomorrow, my son and I plan to launch from Fate Sanders at 9am and fish until 1pm? Any help is appreciated, I have most of the baits that have been mentioned in previous posts. Also, I am interested in your teaching trips, I went with Scott Patten on KY lake and we had a blast but I originally wanted the ledge fishing class and the fish weren’t on the ledges when we went. Also, I would like to use my boat to set up and learn the electronics – is that possible?

I would try areas around fate sanders, both deep and shallow have been producing. Behind fate sanders and Sister cove next to fate sanders are good areas to try with shallow crankbaits and plastics worms. For the deeper spots try the drops and ledges spoke of in the last reports. Big plum plastic worms and deep crankbaits have been productive for me. There are a few deep areas I teach on around fate sanders in the first Elite Video Membership. Have you considered signing up for those?
