This morning my son and I got into a mess of hybrids/whites. For over an hour almost every cast met with a decent size fish grabbing a TN-Rig. Often they would slam the bait before we started the retrieve. Fun, fun, fun! The largest was this 8lb 10oz hybrid:
It was definitely an adrenaline rush. Those hybrids are fearsome fighters. Caught them in the channel next to the long rocky point on the right after exiting the first cut-through going downriver from Fate Sanders. Not sure if the adjacent cove has a name. Am sure Brian would know.
Beautiful fish!!! i bet yall had a blast catching those! last time i got into a school like that was 7 years ago in sister cove they broke off 1 booyah spinner baits till we figured out we had to chase them down with the trolling motor. I am taking my 4 year old out tomorrow putting in at east fork hoping there are some crappie on a few honey holes i have that havent held fish yet.
