Got off work at 7am headed straight to the lake. Put in at Jefferson springs fished both coves behind pump house with not even a nibble threw buzz baits and lizard. Water temp was 76. Then headed to spring creek fished the large shallow point about a mile back from mouth of creek. Threw buzz baits over every inch of that huge point caught a small dink and hooked a STUD rhat bkew my buzz bait up but got off never got him to the boat. Got to the back side of the point towards race track aaw some good fish busting on top threw buzz bait and black and blue bandit 300 with no luck. Started having trolling motor trouble so headed back to ramp and fished bank across from Jefferson springs. Caught a 3 pounder on pumpkin brush hog under a cedar tree hanging over water. Very slow day and didnt see any where near the number of bait fish we have been seeing. Can’t wait for next week saw the forcast possible rain and high 72 for most if the week!!!

I had only a dink caught on a finesse jig. I threw buzz baits, squarebill crankbaits, and shaky heads. Fished Lamar Hill to the cove after fate sanders.
