Decided to fish back in east fork yesterday to see if the fish have moved back to the rivers yet. It was a tough day I threw every thing I could think of short of dynamite! The few bass I caught were holding tight to structure. The only bait I could get them to hit was a buzz bait that was fished tight to structure and actually had to fish it passed the same structure multiple times before they would hit it. Once I found they were holding tight I tried pitching a jig with no luck. The good news is the river is plum FULL of bait fish!! Massive schools of bait fish every where between east fork and Mona and the water temp is 65 so hopefully the bass aren’t far behind the bait fish and it should be mayhem in the river soon!!

Going out tomorrow. My son fished from the bank yesterday around Stewart Creek Rec Cen. He caught several species on a Little George.

I want to get better at fishing a little George.
I have a couple that I modified to have swivel, split rings and replacement treble hooks. I even put molded eyes on one. Unfortunately, I never have much success with them. Any tricks to the trade? I’ve also recently stated to throw another old lure. I’m going to start a new thread tomorrow. The Ghosts of Priest Past.

Haha! So dramatic, Simplecircuit! Can’t wait to hear about it.
