One of my guides had 32 in Stewart creek yesterday. I’ll be out Tuesday for crappie and post report on how it goes.

Planning to take my mom out tomorrow. She’s 76 and LOVES to fish. We haven’t done much crappie fishing at all. Would you recommend Crappie magnets? Any other help with size, color, depth would be appreciated.

Use crappie magnets in black/chartruse. Some days they want different colors but thats what they wanted today. Fish 1/16 and 1/32 ounce jig heads and switch to a 1/8 if you are fishing in heavy wind and fishing deeper. There will be a telephone pole past stewards creek boat ramp. It has a lot of brush in 9 foot of water directly across from it. They may even move shallower if the water warms up a bit. Use a slower retrieve until you find the fish. If you fish stewards creek I will be wading there tomorrow.
