I’m really trying to get better at catching White Bass, Hybrids and Striper. I’ve had success on other lakes fishing for Whites using silver slabs and jigging the bottom in 20-25ft water. We hit the limit every time. During the spring, summer and fall, I was trying this on Percy and didn’t have much luck, just a few little guys. What are some of the techniques you guys use for any of these fish? Where on the lake / What time of day do you go to catch them? Thanks for the input!

I’ve been having lots of luck bouncing a silver buddy off the bottom in around 30 feet between 7 and 11 in the morning. when and where ever I see the bait fish on my fish finder all the way up to 60 feet

Caught a bunch in the feeder creek/spring in Spring Creek today. They weren’t hitting the crappie magnet so I switched to a small pink/white grub. Caught 13 white/hybrid in less than an hour before I had to leave. Gonna try it again tomorrow.

Don’t know Brian. I only had a couple hours to fish, so I fished from the banks. The spring was boiling, and the fish I caught were halfway out to the fork. Water was off color, but not muddy.

Probably gonna fish from the bank again tomorrow, since the main lake was mostly muddy as seen from the bridges.

We fished out of my boat Wednesday and the water was fairly clear at the Longhunter launch ramp. Water temp there was 38, and we didn’t get a bite.
