Your Go-To Rod for Percy Priest
Hi Brian, I know you probably have a bunch of different rod and reel combos for different techniques and lures, but is there one you find yourself using more than the others? When it comes to Percy Priest bass fishing, what do you find yourself using the most? Rod length? medium? medium heavy? heavy? reel? gear ratio? line?
I’m asking because all my rods so far are cheap and i’ve finally got some bass pro gift cards and want to spend some decent money on a good bait caster and rod. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

I do have several different combos, but the one I go to the most is a 7′ Med Heavy All Pro Rod with a fast tip. I have several Lews reel and Shimano Curado reels…..I like them both. They are 6:1 ratio. The line varies, but usually 12-15 copolymer. On this combo I can fish crankbaits, spinnerbaits, rarttle traps, spooks, buzzbaits and more!
