Re: bass fishing report?

We caught 2 bass today around 8:30am – 9:00am over 2 lbs on the long flat ajacent to stewart creek boat ramp. We were throwing shallow running crank bait aroung the stumps in 4′ to 6′. Had one monster clear the water and spit my crankbait back at me. Think my hooks were a little too small. Changing them out this PM. Good luck.
(PS- Monster to me is anything I don’t get in the boat)
