We’ve been doing well with smaller white walk the dog lures [it’s an older discontinued yo-zuri lure].
However, it seems that in all the previous reports, Brian has been throwing a white Hoppy’s buzzbait. The buzzbait does free you up to cover more water. Also, there are starting to be some leaves in the water. So, the treble hooks on a popper or stick bait are starting to grab them up before you can finish a retrieve.
