Brian let me launch ahead of him at the Fate Sanders boat ramp. I was fishing the mouth of the Stewart’s Creek cove that he mentioned in his report when he came in. There were scattered largemouth feeding on the abundant shad. Although they didn’t appear to be schooling, most that I saw were nice measuring fish. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get them to hit the fluke I was fishing.

It was a slow day, period.
